We hiked on several beautiful trails, saw the Honeymoon Falls, played miniature golf, and swam in the nice pool. We ate at the lodge's restaurant but if we had to do it again would probably go one night to Pineville to eat. The weather was lovely and little humidity.
Tom and I took a brief road trip to Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Pineville, Kentucky. We had an incredible mountain view from our balcony and we stayed in their lodge. We celebrated our 46th anniversary on Monday. When we were in the amphitheater, Tom said we should renew our vows. I think we remembered most of the words. lol Apparently, a lot of weddings are held in their amphitheater, festivals and even high school homecomings. We took a selfie but the beautiful background doesn't show up unfortunately.
