My Journey Ends!!!!!

YESTERDAY was my LAST IV infusion maintenance therapy!!! Not a great photo to portray my happiness that it is over. I was going to ask nurse Jennifer to take my picture when she came to change the bags of meds for my IV, but she seemed busy today with several other patients. I took it myself obviously.

My type of lymphoma returns, so is the reason why I did the two year maintenance therapy because it should help to extend my remission. I was told that it could return in 2 years, 5 years or 10 years. I'll take the 10. Because my CAT scan was good, they think it will be a longer time.

I am thankful that God was with me and for all my friends and relatives praying for me since 2019 and before when I had abdominal pain from an enlarged spleen for a couple of years before being diagnosed with cancer. They think now the cancer was caused by my enlarged spleen

UPDATE about submitted book to agent:

Lesley submitted my Amish book to Entangled Publishing but the Amish editor is out on maternity leave until Sept. She also submitted my manuscript to Vinspire Publishing. I think the editor there is on medical leave until October. It seems many of the big publishers are closed to Amish fiction or are in my case since I have self-published my Amish books. I am considered a debut author which is hard for me to wrap my head around since I started writing Amish in 2012. When I signed in 2019, I had high hopes for my writing career. I still hope to hear great news soon because when the holiday season hits, everything seems to close for submissions. I want to get a contract this fall before this happens.

BLURB:
Some of Fields Corner’s favorite Amish characters fall in love, experience jealousy, work at extra jobs, deliver babies, and two are in an accident.  Through all the challenges, life continues with hope in their hearts.

Rachel Weaver decides to visit her husband, Samuel, at his furniture business and takes lunch to him. When she arrives at his store with their daughter in her arms, Rachel is surprised to see a beautiful Englisher, Bridget, laughing and talking with him. Jealousy causes Rachel to consider returning to work part-time at the bakery next to Samuel’s store. She will see Samuel more and can eat lunch with him. Keeping tabs on her handsome husband and baking her famous pies in the Weaver’s Bakery becomes Rachel’s objective.

Bishop Amos’ daughter, Molly, isn’t happy that her sister-in-law, Violet can’t deliver her third baby. After all, Violet delivered her first two babies and everything went well. Violet’s baby is due in November, so she is taking several months off as a midwife. With Molly’s baby due in December, she needs to accept that a doctor will deliver her baby.

As it gets closer to Christmas, Rachel’s faith is tested, and she is reminded again how fragile life is. When Molly delivers her baby, she realizes that God knows best.

I love both the red and pink day lilies, but noticed the pink flowers have an unpleasant scent. The red ones don't.

REVIEWS

A Joyful Break
"
I loved this Christian romance story. The story line, setting, characters and the author's writing style were like a breath of fresh air. Will enjoy the rest of the series as well in the future."  Reviewer on Amazon  5 stars

Judith's Place
"This is the second time I read this book and enjoyed it both times The characters are very real and the twins bring a little levity." Reviewer on Amazon  5 stars

Fleeting Hope
"Another good clean Amish story continuing the lives of a lovely family. I’ve enjoyed the first three books of this series & will be starting the next book soon. Rachel’s story in book one was very inspiring, Judith’s story in book two took us a step further in understanding the Amish faith and book three was mainly about Ruth, an older schoolteacher facing how to deal with falling in love with widower David, father of Rachel & Judith. One has to admire the faith based lives the Amish lead, how they deal with tragedy and other trials."  Norma Den, reviewer
5 stars  (can be purchased on Amazon or

A Decision of Faith
"Sorry to see this series end but happy it ended on a high note. Glad to hear these characters will continue in Diane's next series. Love her story telling." Reviewed by Butterfly 43, on Amazon. 5 stars
