Because of the COVID-19 virus, my husband couldn't go into the cancer treatment room with me for my 4th cycle of maintenance therapy. He dropped me off and got groceries. Then he went home. When I was on the second bag with the rituximab drug, I called him to let him know when I'd be done! All the patients and staff wore masks. I have made two masks but the one I am wearing I bought.
I'm thankful to God that the first nurse didn't attempt to try to get a vein for IV when she couldn't find a good one. Sometimes they keep trying to get the tube into a vein, then finally give up and get another nurse. She realized that another nurse was needed. Suzanne found a vein and got it in the first attempt.
