My daughter Emily made this pumpkin patch! It is delicious and is a dirt pudding.
I can't believe October flew by so quickly! One of my reader friends was wrapping her Christmas gifts yesterday! I am impressed that she is done with Christmas shopping. I never get started early.

Review by Norma Den
5.0 out of 5 stars Good clean Amish story
How lovely to meet up again with “old friends”. Violet has been brought up “English” as opposed to her mothers side of the family being Amish. However she had visited her grandparents frequently over the years & made friends in the community. With her father a senator & considering running for President, meeting & falling in love with Luke, son of the Amish Bishop, was the furthest thing from her mind. This story addresses the choices & difficulties of choosing between Amish life or remaining “English”. A truly lovely story, well written with empathy & insight. I’ve already downloaded the next series in which I hope to meet up with some old friends.

On Wednesday, I went for another IV infusion. The first nurse had trouble finding a vein, so she got another nurse to insert the IV. My white blood count is still too low and even dropped to 1.3. Dr. Herms said it is low due to the chemo I had for my cancer.
I should (hopefully) have my last maintenance treatment in August 2021! I can't wait! My next CAT scan is in February and Dr. Herms said I'll have to continue having scans every 6 months for some time. I was anticipating that once my treatment ended that I could just have scans once a year.
I am still waiting for ACX to approve my audiobook for A DECISION OF FAITH! I'm anxious to have all four books of my Dreams of Plain Daughters Series available in audiobooks!

Our handsome son Bartholomew married beautiful Kelly on Saturday at St. Thomas More church. We are blessed to have Kelly and her sweet daughter Camellia in our family. The weather was perfect and so lovely. Our daughter Amanda was a bridesmaid and did awesome. It was her dream to be a bridesmaid and she enjoyed it a lot. Christina and April were readers and did a great job. Kelly's uncle did the first reading. It was nice meeting some of Kelly's relatives who live out-of-state. Dillon was the best man and Camellia was the maid of honor. Kelly's sister Pam was the matron of honor and Elena and Lila were flower girls.
Mother and Son Dance Tom and I won a dance contest that was for married couples! Elimination of couples occurred as the DJ gave years married. We were the last couple dancing because we were married the longest at 45 years. We won a gift card from Bart and Kelly.
Our beautiful grandchildren
Two of our gorgeous daughters - April and Christina! They were readers for the church service!
Daughter Sara and grandson Dean
Daughter April with her husband Michael and their son Dean!

Happy October, everyone! I can't believe it is already October with much cooler temperatures at night here in southwestern Ohio.
I saw a new review today for book 2 in my Dreams of Plain Daughters Series. Thank you to reader/reviewer, James Hall, for taking time to post it on Amazon!
Good Read
“Enjoyed reading this book because the characters had flaws in their lives that they had to deal with. It shows how people can have different beliefs, but can still love one another and help each other.”
