I was invited a week ago to a Book Club gathering at Marti's house. She started this awesome club years ago. Each woman brought delicious food to enjoy. One brought a Shoo fly pie. That was great since I shared many things about my Amish books. The members decided to each pick one of my books to read. And thank you to Ruth Brothers for suggesting me to be the author for the June meeting. Some of the books they read are: A Gift Forever, The Amish Mother's Secret, Priscilla's Escape, A Joyful Break, Amish Baby Snatched, and Never the Same. It was fun to meet the members! I talked about my inspiration and being with traditional publishers and self-publishing. I wish I had thought to get a picture with Marti and the members. The book I'm holding is because at the end, I told them about my daughter, Christina, being my cover model for my book, Fleeting Hope!
