I love Laurel Blount's books! This book is amazing. I appreciate how Laurel took the time to include details that made Neil Hamilton's grief at losing his wife even more heartbreaking. It wasn't just that he forgot his wallet on the day she died, but another incident that he felt was also his fault. Maggie is a character that I'd love to meet because she isn't afraid to show her emotions about Neil and her foster child, Oliver. I hope there will be a book about Logan in the future. He was a wonderful addition to the story as Maggie's brother. Outspoken Ruby provided insight into Maggie's personality. The descriptions of the settings and characters throughout the book made me feel a part of the book.
