This is a good book in the Amish romance birthday series. They’ve all been good so far, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of them.
Be sure to read all twelve books in the Amish Romance Birthday Series! I am humbled to be among this group of talented storytellers!

My husband says people who read my books will live longer, so I must be doing something special for them! Wasn’t it sweet of him to share this article with me?
Do Great Readers live longer? by DR. BARBARA GOLDER
The information is announced with great enthusiasm: Readers live longer! For a culture self-obsessed with health and longevity, it’s good news indeed. Here is a magic bullet available to pretty much everyone, at no substantial cost apart from time and with few, if any, noticeable side effects when it comes to the measured outcome of length of days.
In a landmark study, Yale scientists found that readers outlived nonreaders by almost two years. It was a substantial study of over three thousand subjects, and well controlled for the obvious competing variables: age, socioeconomic status, depression, physical health, sex, and race. Moreover, the authors discovered a dose-response: The more one read, the greater the advantage, and books were better than periodicals or newspapers, presumably because their depth and complexity required more sustained attention and more analytical thinking.
There are at least one hundred good reasons to read, and dozens more lists collecting them. Reading those lists, one is struck by the self-interest of most of the reasons. Reading increases one’s knowledge. It reduces stress. It facilitates imagination. It stimulates critical thinking. It forges new neural pathways. It staves off dementia.

Sharing photos from my Author Library Event on Saturday. It was nice meeting my readers in person, and that made the day so special. Karen and I have been online friends for years, so it was especially nice to meet her in person. She's in the second photo. Sandra has read most of my books, and it was great meeting such a fan of my books! Then in the last photo is Vicki. She shared her amazing photography work with me. Thanks to my daughters, April and Christina, for coming and helping me! Afterwards, it was fun to go out to eat with my two lovely daughters. I have extra books to sell. Email me at dianecraver@gmail.com if interested in buying any!

Emily and I enjoyed our trip to Florida. Well, she lives in Florida, but not close to a beach. We drove to Anna Maria Island. Photos are from our boat ride on her birthday, a fun night out, and a quilt I saw at the gift section of Der Dutchman's restaurant that I love! Too expensive for me to buy, though! Another daughter, Christina, celebrates her birthday today! She's a teacher and couldn't visit with us.

The Confirmation Mass was wonderful, and we are proud of our grandchildren, Dillon and Camellia! It was held in St. Peter in Chains' huge church in Cincinnati. Tom was Dillon's sponsor, and Camellia's mother filled in for her sponsor. Isabella is in premed and couldn't make it on the night of Confirmation.
