Hilarious Book Signing Video!
Hope everyone has an awesome and safe Memorial Day Weekend! We aren’t traveling but are celebrating by grilling and having a picnic by our pool. Hope the weather is warm enough to go swimming and no rain, please. 
Author P.I. Barrington will be visiting here on Wednesday, June 2nd.
I saw this clever video on Jennifer Shirk’s blog and it is hilarious. I love the part where the author, Parnell Hall is sitting next to the famous mystery writer, Mary Higgins Clark. Enjoy!

Aw man, that’s an adorable video. Poor fellow. I’ve done a few signings and most times the readers are too scared to approach the table. Parnell needs to bring along a buddy to chat with. Makes an author look more approachable.

I LOVED this! What a sweet, dear man. My gosh, that is like my biggest fear, to have a signing and no one shows up. Agh!

I had a signing once where no one came to our table but it was a huge room filled with authors and the readers bought the books in another room. But it was discouraging.
Thanks - I’m excited to have our kids and relatives here for our picnic. Have fun at the NYC harbor - that sounds great.

Been there, done that. There was a big name at the Bouchercon I went to and they got all the takers. The rest of us counted threads on the tablecloth.
This is a cool video, Diane. I think Parnell wrote and performed the song as well.

Parnell really did a great job. He has a positive outlook. And I like his sense of humor.

Loni (my sister) and I saw Parnell on TWO panels @ Left Coast Crime! One was Liars and the other was on music and books I believe. However this was hilarious in a poignant sort of way! We’re fearing this at our book launch in August! Yikes!
