WHEN DAY BREAKS

Mary Jane Clark writes great murder mysteries, and I have read all of her books. I always hate to wait on her next book. She writes one book a year. Her first book was published in 1998. The funny thing is the first time I picked up one of her books I assumed it was a book by Mary Higgins Clark. This particular book was next to her ex-mother-in-law’s books on the library shelf.
Ms. Clark’s books are inspired by her working three decades in network television news. She uses this inside knowledge of the news business to create realistic action and intrigue in her novels. I always like her characters a lot, and some of the reporters and behind the scene characters are in several of her books, so it’s nice to continue reading about their lives. Eliza Blake is the anchor in her latest book, When Day Breaks and in earlier books was a morning show star. I also liked another character, Annabelle Murphy, from another book and she helps solve the latest murder.
If you like reading Mary Higgins Clark, you’ll also enjoy reading Mary Jane Clark’s mysteries. Click here if you want to visit her website.
