Pool Problems
We worked Saturday on opening our pool. The cover itself was good with no leaves, but we had to clean out the leaves and weeds by the white fence. Tom also did all the mowing around the pool before we slowly rolled the cover. Emily, Tom and I cleaned it as we rolled it up. The water was green but clear and not cloudy. We didn’t get any farther because the pump wouldn’t start so I couldn’t backwash and get the chemicals in. I need to buy a new pump and I’m afraid it will cost too much.
Writing news: I received today an acceptance for an article I submitted to WritersWeekly.com. I need to decide what to write on the art form to help the cover artist in designing my new cover for my Christmas book. I’m excited to work with the talented artist for Whimsical Publications books. My daughter Christina read the first two chapters of my wip and she liked what I wrote. That gives me the boost I need to continue with it.

I wish I had a pool! I hear they’re a pain to take care of though. Here you have to drain them every year, and then have water brought in to fill them in the spring…
Hey, I’ve nominated you for something at my blog. Come see!

Tom shopped around today and he thinks he found a good place to buy the new motor for it. The hardest thing is opening and closing it each year. Otherwise, it’s not bad…once you get the water balanced.
Thank you for nominating me - I’ll go check it out.
