Road Trip
I left work Tuesday at 2 to head towards Dayton, Ohio, to pick up my daughter from college. We arrived in Detroit, Michigan at 7:30. Yesterday morning she met with different people at Wayne State University about a position she’s been offered. We spent some time looking at apartments before we came home yesterday. It’s 5 hours from where we live so it was a long haul.
INTERESTING FACT: Detroit is actually north of Canada! The only place in the United States that is north of it.
Emily graduates from University of Dayton on Sunday.
Have a great day, everyone! I’m wondering if the Louisiana scoring project is almost finished. I’ll find out soon.
Also I think driving in terrible traffic to work this spring got me prepared for driving in Detroit during rush hour. It took me over a week to get used to driving again in heavy traffic. It bothered me more this year than it did last year when I worked in Cincinnati.
