I started a scoring job this week so it’s been busy. My project is scoring Ohio 12th grade science tests, next will be 11th grade science. We had training Tuesday and Wednesday. After qualifying (I got 100 on both qualifying tests) I started scoring the tests. I wasn’t happy that we were sent home early today. The students just took the tests last week and they didn’t get all 60,000 scanned into the computer system. I have a 40 minute commute so it’s pretty far to drive for only 4 1/2 hrs. of work. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a full day!
I finished reading Linda Poitevin’s book, A Fairy Tale for Gwyn. I thoroughly loved this romance. I fell in love with Gareth but could see why Gwyn couldn’t believe he was interested in her. She is a single mother with three young children and they are her first priority in life. She doesn’t have room in her heart for another man after being hurt by her ex-husband. Gareth’s a well-known actor, but he charms her and her adorable children. She worries that they will become too attached to him and will be devastated when he returns to his movie star life. She can’t imagine he’s actually in love with her and their chaotic family life.
I bought this delightful book in the Kindle edition but it’s also available in paperback!
BLURB OF A FAIRY TALE FOR GWYN
Gwyn Jacobs doesn’t believe in fairy tales. Ever since her ex-husband walked out four years ago, abandoning her with their three-year-old daughter and four-month-old twins, Gwyn has had to be mother, father, and bread-winner all rolled into one. Her own scarred heart and failed marriage aside, she refuses to open up her children’s lives to the possibility of another heartbreak, so she has an unbending policy of no dating and no unattached men in her home…Until her very own fairy tale falls into her lap - and the hero won’t take no for an answer.
Have a great weekend! I’m hoping OSU will win their basketball game Friday night. GO BUCKEYES! Lea and Bart are taking us out to dinner on Saturday night to an Italian restaurant! I can’t wait - I love Italian food and will enjoy spending time with Bart and Lea.
