Woohoo!
Back to our normal routine except later!
Sara and Amanda both have their programs today! We did get 2 inches of snow right over Batavia though. Our road is actually not the greatest this morning. Sara went two hours late because of a delay, and Amanda is on a delay, too. The bad thing is the van broke down so she’s still waiting to be picked up. Tom won’t be doing his volunteer teaching at St. Louis today again because they are closed. But I’m so happy that the girls get to go even though it’s later in the day - they love their programs.
Our wonderful neighbor, Leonard, came yesterday with his snow plow so we’re grateful to him. We couldn’t get out of our long driveway before he cleaned it out for us.
I’m done with chapter one of my new story so not doing great here with the writing. I got sidetracked with many other things. One thing is I’m doing lots of paperwork for this at home scoring job I was offered. Also I’ve been getting rid of some clutter. Not my favorite thing.
Even though I haven’t been doing actual writing, I’ve thought of some new conflicts for the characters.
WINNER OF CONTEST: I drew Carolyn Overholser’s name and she would like my ebook, WHITNEY IN CHARGE! Good choice, Carolyn! I love this story about Whitney and her two sisters. I hope Carolyn enjoys reading it. By the way, the answer to Patti’s question about my favorite character I’ve written is Whitney, which everyone answered correctly. Whitney is definitely one of my favorite characters!
Thanks, everyone, for your answers and for participating! If you didn’t win this time, you have a chance to win a signed copy of A Fiery Secret on March 1st - all you have to do is leave a comment here during February!
