Contest for February!
Happy February!
As I mentioned in my previous post, March is small press month, so I’m getting an early start on promoting books published by small publishers. The winner of this contest will get the e-book format of The Role of a Lifetime by Jennifer Shirk. It has received awesome reviews and is a romantic comedy! It will be available in print in March. I’ll draw on February 16th (President’s Day) and the next day another contest will begin! If you don’t win Jennifer’s book, you’ll have a second chance to win the next prize! In March there will be more contests to celebrate small press month!
To win Jennifer’s e-book, all you have to do to be entered is leave a comment. To increase your chances of winning, visit daily and leave comments! Good luck!

Blurb:
There’s more to life than playing make believe.
Sandra Moyer has a good reason to distrust actors. She was once married to one who left her and her child. However, she’s desperate for publicity to help her struggling preschool. Hollywood playboy Ben Capshaw’s request to access her classes to prepare for a role is an offer she can’t refuse.
Sandra second guesses herself on that decision until she sees Ben in action with the children. Her apprehension turns to wonder, and then to feelings she’d thought were closed off forever. Yet how can she trust that what she’s seeing is real?
As a boy, Ben learned that acting was the answer to everything. The role he’s up for now will enhance his career and, he’s sure, secure his happiness. But spending time with Sandra and her daughter stirs up emotions that—for once—aren’t pretend.
Ben’s ready for a lifetime role as husband and father—if he can convince Sandra not to typecast him.
REVIEWS:
5 Blue Ribbons!
“You’ll be laughing out loud one minute and then your heart goes out the very next. If you only have time to read one book this summer, THE ROLE OF A LIFETIME is a must read! This is the first story from Ms. Shirk I’ve read but it certainly won’t be the last.”
— Chrissy from Romance Junkies
4 Nymphs!
“The Role of a Lifetime is going to captivate readers with its warm family style romance. If you believe that everything happens for a reason, The Role of a Lifetime is definitely the book for you. I’ll look forward to each novel Ms. Shirk is going to write after this!”
