Shopping Today and FREEBIE - Amish Romance!

Sunday, May 19th, 2013

Tom, I , Sara and Amanda are going shopping today for a table set for new house. We want to get chairs that work for Sara and Amanda. Sara is only 4′7″ so want to make sure her feet touch the floor. I feel sorry for her because in so many situations, her feet don’t touch the floor. Many seats are too high for her.

Okay, I have my Amish romance FREE thru May 23rd. I hadn’t planned on making it free but decided to once. After the 90 days, I’ll take it off the Amazon KDP Select program and put it back for sale on Barnes & Noble. It only sold a few copies there and none on Smashwords. It’s still available in print on Barnes & Noble. Click here if you’d like to download a FREE copy of A JOYFUL BREAK!

I decided to change the cover for Whitney in Charge. Hopefully, the pretty cover will stimulate sales. Whitney is available here!

Here’s a new review for Whitney in Charge by Cerian Hebert:
5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Romance with Great Family Relationships
I loved the relationship between the sisters, the teasing and the support. Ms. Craver did an awesome job with the hero(es) in the story. Love the love triangle aspect, though it was a toss up as to which guy to root for! Lovely romance with a bit of humor and lots of tugging at the heartstrings. Can’t wait to start my next Diane Craver book!

Progress on Judith’s Place (Dreams of Plain Daughters, Book Two) - I finished Chapter Eight before I started a new scoring project. We finished OGT Science on Monday and today was training for Alaska writing project. I like it a lot and is much better than science…for me anyhow. :)

A JOYFUL BREAK BLURB

After her mother’s untimely death, a twenty-year-old Amish woman has a difficult decision to make: Choose to break from the Plain community and her boyfriend to live in the English world permanently…or join the Amish church.

Rachel Hershberger wants to get away from her Amish home in Fields Corner, Ohio. For a year she’s been trying to fill her mother’s shoes by taking care of her father and siblings. She had quit her job at the bakery so she would have more time to clean and cook at home. Before her mother died, Rachel was positive she wanted to marry Samuel Weaver, but now she can’t think about wedding plans. She blames her father for her mother’s death. If they had installed a phone in their barn or a shanty, her mother might have received medical help in time to save her life. Her mother’s death has made Rachel question if she should be baptized and join the church. She wonders if non-Amish women live longer and have less stress. Maybe her forty-four-year old mother would still be alive had she left the Amish lifestyle like her sister Carrie did.

When her Aunt Carrie invites her to go to the beach, Rachel decides the time away will help her to decide whether to join the Amish church or to live in the English world instead. She is conflicted because she loves Samuel and her family. Instead of a relaxing time away, disturbing events happen while Rachel’s in Florida. A photographer snaps troublesome pictures of Rachel because of her famous senator uncle, and a handsome and charming college student falls in love with Rachel.

BLURB:
Is Mallory Harrington jinxed because her name means luckless? Things have gone wrong for Mallory since she was a small child. All she ever wanted was to have a complete family and live happily ever after. It appears she has it all when she marries Toby Harrington and they have a son. Unfortunately, their marriage ends when Toby has an affair with his law partner. Divorced Mallory doesn’t want to date, so she isn’t happy when her girlfriends try to fix her up with a minister friend.

Mallory decides to do something for herself, and get the nose surgery that she’s always wanted. What she doesn’t expect is her instant attraction to her surgeon.

Sometimes faith is about accepting what can’t be changed and grabbing what God offers her. Life must go on.
