It’s been lovely weather with the cooler temperatures but our pool water has only been around 74 degrees in the late afternoon. The water goes down to 70 degrees at night. I’m afraid we might as well close our pool this week. Some pool owners in our area can keep their pools open until later in October but we don’t get any morning sun. I hate to see the pool closed because it’s my form of exercise in the summer. And I enjoy escaping to the pool to pray and to relax. It’s a pretty spot to escape to whenever I want to get away from the house. It’s a little bit of a distance from the house. We couldn’t put our pool in the backyard so it’s out by a field. I read my chapters that I print off from my laptop to proofread by the pool.

Do you have a place you enjoy escaping to when you need some alone time?

Of course, many times other family members are also enjoying the pool which is great too. It’s wonderful to have family fun time and sometimes my hubby grills by the pool. Or we might eat pizza.

Yesterday was a family celebration for us! It was great to have everyone here to celebrate April’s 31st birthday! Our new grandson, Dillon, got held by many loving arms! April shared pictures of her recent business trip to Amsterdam and also her personal trip to Spain. Later, we watched the movie Tower Heist with Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, and Alan Alda. We enjoyed this movie.
